I wanted to announce on my blog about a recent exhibit that I have been accepted to participate in. It will be held during the month of June in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Artists from the surrounding area were asked to submit 6 images of their work. According to the organizers, there were over 150 entries, so I feel very humbled and honored to be selected as one of the 20 artists chosen to participate this year by the panel of judges.
Artists will each be paired with a retail location in which to show 8-10 of their pieces, all available for purchase. My work will be shown at the “Life is Good” shop, which is quite appropriate for the way I feel lately! Work will also be judged and prizes will be awarded too. I will provide more details as I receive them, but the opening will be on June 1st. I hope some of you will be able to make it!
